About Us

Mabale’s Mission is to become the most profitable smallholder tea factory in Uganda with a vision of having improved standards of living for its small holder tea farmers. We have been making tea since 1966 and the company is owned by over 2,600 small holder tea farmers.

We are working hard to ensure that our farmers and out growers have improved livelihoods by paying market prices for their green leaf and also through our partnership with café direct. In order to give you the best possible leaf, we believe it is important to care for the environment in which it is grown to protect its vitality and to harness the goodness of the remarkable tea bush. We are also committed to the tea farmers and pluckers, whose skill and passion we rely on to select the best leaf.
